How often do I need to use Instant Mite Killer?

Infestations:  Apply to plants once every three (3) days until problem is no longer present.

 

Maintenance:  Apply to plants once every seven (7) days.

Do I need to PH my water before mixing with Instant Mite Killer?

No.  However, Instant Mite Killer works most effectively when it is mixed with filtered water, preferably by Reverse Osmosis.

Can I mix Instant Mite Killer with other products?

No.  Instant Mite Killer works most effectively when it is applied alone.

How often do I need to use Instant Mite Killer?

Depending on your needs, we have a few directions on use from basic maintenance to treating a catastrophic infestation.

While there you can assess how bad the infestation is and what level of care is appropriate for your needs.

Does Instant Mite Killer damage plant leaves?

In very rare situations, your plant’s leaves might curl or shrivel slightly if you mix more than two (2) ounces of Instant Mite Killer per gallon of water.  If you find yourself in this situation, don’t worry. First, rinse the areas that show stress with filtered water. Wait 48 hours and treat again with a reduced application rate.  Test on a single plant before treating the entire garden.

What kind of applicators can I use?

Instant Mite Killer can be used in all types of spray applicators.  Standard spray bottle, backpack atomizer, pump sprayer, etc.

Will spraying Instant Mite Killer harm trichomes?

Spraying anything (even water) during late flower cycle will harm the trichome structure.  The result is mainly superficial with slight physical damage to the sharpness and clarity of the trichomes and any resin.

I have a serious infestation, can I mix more than 2 oz per gallon?

How long is Instant Mite Killer good for after mixing?

Instant Mite Killer is most effective when used immediately after mixing.  It is not recommended to use after 24 hours.

Does Instant Mite Killer work on all plants and crops?

Yes, Instant Mite Killer is effective on all types of plants and crops.  Some plants are more sensitive than others and it is recommended that you test your plants first with the lowest-effective-dose of ½ oz per gallon and increase ½ oz increments.  Do not exceed 2 oz per gallon.

Can I use Instant Mite Killer in rotation with other pest control products?

Yes.  We recommend using our Plant Maintenance Guide.

Does Instant Mite Killer expire?

When kept sealed and in its original packaging, Instant Mite Killer has no expiration date.  After opening, Instant Mite Killer has a shelf life of one year.

Can I use Instant Mite Killer during flowering cycle?

Yes!  However we advise against spray in late stage flowering unless it’s absolutely necessary.  Trichome and resin glands are easily disrupted and anything (even water) can damage them. Taking care of the problem before heavy trichome development is important to keeping your finished yields looking show quality!

Does Instant Mite Killer work on Powdery Mildew?

Yes, absolutely!  Powdery mildew doesn’t stand a chance against the triple action effects of Instant Mite Killer.

How do I use Instant Mite Killer?

Instant Mite Killer is formulated to attack and eliminate a wide variety of bugs, mites and mold spores using 1 oz Instant Mite Killer per 1 gallon of water.  

 

Instant Mite Killer must make contact to be effective.  Spray above and below leaves as well as stocks with uniform coverage.  Shake well.
